Enclave Apartments is a mixed use 99,000 SF development located in the Berkeley, CA Telegraph District. This UC Berkeley student housing building with a unique rock façade includes 88,000 SF of dormitories and 11,000 SF of ground floor retail space. The building is wood frame built on a concrete podium and mat slab at grade level. The 55 dormitory units include 12 different layouts, designed to house two to seven students each with a total of 254 students in the building. Amenities include study lounges, a fitness center and laundry services. Royal Electric’s scope on this design build project included the design and installation of complete electrical, low voltage/data, two-way communication and fire alarm systems.
