Odin Construction selected Royal to assist with a tenant improvement subcontract project to a 2,323 square-foot office building. Odin took the building down to the studs, removed the ceiling and existing cubicles, and redesigned the layout. Royal installed the lighting, lighting controls, new receptacles, new data and communications system, new power for the HVAC roof unit, new main breaker in existing MSB and new sub-feeder and sub-panel.
Close collaboration among the general contractor and other trades aided this job in running smoothly with minimal issues. Although inconsistencies were discovered in the drawings between major systems, our electricians identified them early and worked with the general contractor to quickly develop a solution. The project team also had the opportunity to develop closer relationships by coordinating the scheduling and sequencing of installations together.
Inconsistencies in the design drawings were caught early by Royal’s expert electricians. With assistance from the project team, we helped the customer identify areas that did not match the other trades and quickly developed a resolution. This in turn strengthened Royal’s relationship with Odin and ensured the project was completed correctly.
