This project involved the construction of 30 rows of six touchdown zone lights on Runway 26R, along with associated conduit runs to the electrical vault located on the north side of the runway at Ontario International Airport. As an airside project, all work was performed within the secure AOA perimeter of the airport.

Royal Electric’s scope of work included the development of a quality control program, pavement removal and markings, installation of 5kV cable, 600V ground wire, vault airfield lighting constant current regulator system, conduit, duct bank, 180 runway TDZ and 242 centerline in-pavement light fixtures, 90 new base cans as well as ALCS modifications and equipment.
