Jeff is responsible for ensuring the Royal Team is aware of — and compliant with — its contractual obligations at all times. This includes understanding what the project specifications require from an administrative and compliance standpoint, negotiating fair and mutually-beneficial contracts with clients and vendors, identifying labor or collective bargaining requirements or opportunities, and serving as a resource to employees and external partners for just about any questions or concerns which may arise.

His extensive industry experience has included a variety of project delivery methods (design-bid-build, design-build, CM/GC, etc.) plus a diverse portfolio of markets, including single-family residential, bridges, wastewater treatment plants, and tunnel projects. Throughout his career he has been involved with bid processes, minority and small business requirements, labor compliance, contract compliance, project closeout, labor relations, and much more.

Jeff regularly gives presentations and training sessions at minority and small business seminars and events, covering topics ranging from submitting responsive bids, bonding, insurance, lien law, key provisions in contract documents, and other general topics.

Jeff enjoys spending time with his family, especially playing sports with his kids (though he often forgets that his recovery period is longer than it used to be). His love for cooking frequently leads him to find new recipes to try at his family’s peril. Whenever possible, he likes to sneak away to Tahoe for a long weekend of skiing, swimming or hiking.
